Custom Bookcases

These matching Library Bookcases in Marietta feature arched tops with recessed panels, scrolled corbels and keystones as a centerpiece. Each case offers dimmable accent lighting and raised panel doors and drawers on soft close hinges and slides. The end cases feature glass doors while the tops are adorned with scrolled appliques. Each column has a pilaster base decorated with rosettes, fluted trim up to another rosette followed by more fluted trim and topped with a corbel. The 7 inch crown moulding follows the profile of each column and keystone.  

This 1900's Greek Revival needed the perfect window seat under the window with bookshelves flanking each side of the window.  Storage underneath creates the perfect place to hide the kids toys or blankets for summer storage. 

A vaulted ceiling is no obstacle for Atlanta Bookshelves. We love getting to incorporate this into your design. Stretching 14 feet up and 15 feet across, a rolling ladder was a must.  This avid reader can enjoy hours of reading by the window with the bench that was also incorporated into the design. With 14 different shelves, this homeowner is able to divide her library up by categories. She keeps her most frequently referenced books (cook books) at easy reach, while her lesser used books are kept up top.

This 1920's classic Victorian Bungelow lacked storage and flanking bookshelves were the order of the day.   Twelve foot ceilings make this project on of the largest we have built.  A bench under the window not only provides storage but also a comfortable place to curl up with a book.  

This former office building converted into lofts needed some extra storage.  With almost 100 cubic feet of cabinet storage it is the perfect place to hide all your "stuff".  Adjustable shelves allow this chef to organize all of his cookbooks for easy acess.  The back of the center case was reinforced so the homeowner could easily hang a TV and not have to search for studs.

These custom built in book cases are wrapped with crown and base molding making the appear to be originally built in with the house. The shelves, constructed out of red oak, were built to match the bookshelves her father built 30 years ago.  A ladder was a must  for these 10' tall cases making all the shelves easily accessible.

Replacing a handrail with a bookshelf was  a unique build but the end results were even better than imagined. The LED lighting creates a nightlight that illuminates the hallway for the evening trips downstairs to let the dogs out. 

With the addition of the rolling ladder this custom built-in bookshelf was the perfect transition for a spare room to become a home library. Stained per customers choice, this classic, two-walled bookshelf includes adjustable shelving. Made of birch for durability, this project has become one of our favorites.

This entertainment center has a wall to hang the TV on to insure viewing angles are not cut off.  Drawers create a great way to hide DVDs and video games.  A/V Components are hidden behind the doors above and controlled using an infrared repeater.

This custom build is a shaker style with soft close drawer slides. With shelving and drawers it is the ideal built in if you need storage and organization.
